The 12th of February was the International Day against the Use of Child Soldiers. Along with the Departmental Government of Antioquia and their Protective Environments program and the Municipal Council of Caucasia, we celebrated an event with the community that evoked the Right to Dream and the need to create and care for environments and spaces that protect the rights of children, adolescents and young people. Artistic and games-based activities were held to promote a culture of peace and the recognition of children and young people as agents of change.
Mi Sangre Foundation, created by singer and social leader Juanes in 2006, for children, adolescents and young in Colombia to become peacemakers, will incubate the process of creating this new community of Young Global Transformers, led by its Director Catalina Cock Duque, who five years ago was chosen by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader.
